ISR activity of the departments: “Serving as Scribes for the University /End Semester Examinations” in association with AGAL Foundation

Our students in association with the AGAL foundation serve as scribes for Students with Permanent Disabilities, Chronic Medical Conditions and temporary disabilities. The main focus of this initiative is to ensure that there is no barrier to procuring knowledge and pursuing Education.

As part of the ISR initiative by the department, the activity started in the year 2017-18. The scribes are mainly for the undergraduate, postgraduate and government service examinations.

The Role Of The Course

The Department of Computer Applications offers a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme, aimed at providing students with a strong academic foundation and practical exposure in the field of computer applications. The programme covers core subjects such as programming languages, Relational database management, web technology , Big Data Analytics, R-Programming, Network Security and operating systems. Alongside theoretical concepts, the curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning through lab sessions, project work, and workshops. This three-year undergraduate programme equips students with the skills needed to pursue careers in software development, IT services, data analysis, and also lays the groundwork for higher education in computer applications and related fields.
