About the Department
The evolving trends in the financial sector have provided a momentum towards comprehending the intricacies of banking and financial mechanisms. Keeping abreast of the changing horizons in the field of banking, the Department of M.Com Bank Management was established during the Academic Year 2017-18. The Department provides practical exposure to the students through internship programmes, real-time projects and Corporate Mentoring. The Department has produced University rank holders. Training is provided to all the students to take up IBPS and Competitive examinations during their course of study. The department extends value-added certificate courses in the field of banking and financial management. The Department has enabled the students to acquire skills and get well-placed in Corporates, Private Banks and Educational Institutions based on the career choice of the students.
Eligibility criteria
The candidate must have passed any of the following UG Degrees and have secured not less than 50% of the Marks in the aggregate of Major and Electives are eligible.

B.Com (Accounting & Finance)
B.Com (Bank Management)
B.Com (Information and System Management)
BBA
B.A Business Economics or B.A Economics

Scope of the Programme
The programme provides essential skills to take up leading roles in the field of banking and Finance. Learners will acquire skills like effective communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and Digital knowledge to handle day-to-day business activities. Learners will be able to prove proficiency with the ability to engage in competitive exams like IBPS, RRB, UPSC, NET and CA, ACS, ICWA, CMA, M.Phil, PhD courses. Students will be able to exhibit knowledge of Digital Banking and global banking. Business Finance, Accounting and Information Technology in banking. Learners will be able to do higher education and advanced research in the fields of commerce, Finance and banking sectors. The program enables students to acquire skills to get placed as Digital Banking Officers, Investment Advisors, Tax consultants, Financial Consultant, Accountant, Internal Auditor, Fintech Executives, Research Assistants, Professor and Business Analyst.
