Overview of the department

The Department of B.Com Accounting & Finance (Shift II) has grown rapidly since its inception in 2012. The department plays a significant role in teaching and imparting knowledge to the students. The Department trains the students to inculcate leadership qualities by providing the representatives a chance to execute various events and competitions. The department always aims to enlighten the students in terms of knowledge, skill, attitude, and behavior that support them to achieve their futuristic goals.

The department focuses on practical components like offering internships, and industrial visits and imparts the skills to pursue finance as a career.

Department staff use various teaching methodologies like flipped classrooms, expeditionary learning, game-based learning, team-building exercises, active learning, problem-based learning, blended learning, etc.

Students are encouraged to take up MOOCs.

Various activities are organized by the Department like Webinar, Conducting Quiz, Debate, Group Discussions, Role play, and Students seminar that encourages student’s interaction and also helps to participate in college events
