Nature Walk Adventures with KRMMC!
As part of an initiative by the Nature Club and their curriculum, the II-year students of KRMMC embarked on a Nature Walk at the serene Guindy National Park. This enriching experience combined observation with experiential learning, providing students with a deeper connection to the environment.
The walk was an eye-opener, offering countless moments of wonder as students explored the lush greenery, diverse plant species, and towering trees that make Guindy Park a natural treasure. Guided by faculty, they honed their skills in tree and plant identification, gaining valuable insights into the region’s flora and its ecological importance.
Adding to the excitement, students participated in an informative session on the Turtle Walk, where they learnt about conservation efforts for these gentle marine creatures. This session shed light on the importance of preserving biodiversity, inspiring students to contribute to environmental conservation in meaningful ways.
The day was a perfect blend of learning, exploration, and inspiration – a step towards nurturing eco-conscious individuals ready to make a positive impact on the world.
