Nature Club

Natix G, the Nature Club of KRMMC was inaugurated in November 2003. The club brings out project focusing on environment to preserve Mother Nature and protesting against any damage done to her. The mission of the club is to promote environmental awareness and progress towards a greener world.

Activities of Natix G:

  • Beach cleaning program in association with Tree Foundation, Roots and Shoots of India, Indian Coast Guard are organized during International Coastal Clean-up Day.
Nature Club
  • Nature Camps are organized to create environmental awareness and conserving nature.
  • Turtle Walks are organized towards sea turtle conservation during their nestling period.
  • Flipper Fest is organized every year in association with Tree Foundation, Roots & Shoots of India during which various competitions are held for school and college students.
  • Organic Farming is done in order to create awareness on Food Safety in organic farming and the harmful effects of the conventional farming.
  • Some of the other activities of the club include the conduct of street plays, seminars, oratorical, essay writing, pencil sketching, drawing competition, quiz, campaign to create environmental awareness.

    Ocean Guardian Shield was given by Tree foundation, Roots & Shoots of India during Flipper fest 2010.
